Hi List,

 

We recently upgraded our OTRS ticketing system to 2.2.1.

Since the upgrade it is no longer possible to send out mail with special characters (like ç, é, è, à). The message does get into the database but it is not mailed out.

The error we are seeing in OTRS is the following:

Software error:

Wide character in syswrite at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/Net/Cmd.pm line 436, <PRODUCT> line 252.

 

Do you have any idea what might cause this?
