Okay so I installed gc++
but I am still having the same error. I made sure that the directory that gcc
was installed in was in the PATH variable. Not sure where to procede. One issue
that it might be is that I may have to also add the gcc path to some @INC
variable used by Perl. Is this correct and if so how do I modify it?
Thanks for the help.

Do you have gc /
gc++ installed on your system ?
The perl libs must
be compiled
A while ago I had
kind of the same problem. I installed gc and it worked for me…

Onderwerp: [otrs] Installing Perl
Modules during Source installation on Unix
I am trying to add the perl modules in the steps
defined in the Unix/Linux source installation.
I am running into a problem. When I go into cpan
using perl –e shell –MCPAN and then type install <package
name> it doesn’t install.
At the end of the module installation process I
receive the error
Writing make file for TimeDate
n not
ok
Running make test
Can’t test without successful make
Running make install
Make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
Anyone have suggestions?
