I just upgraded to 2.4.4 this week on a Windows install and the File logging is working fine for me. Has been working in previous versions as well, so I don’t think there is a bug with OTRS. Sorry L I know that isn’t much help.

I can configure it through the Admin GUI just fine. Silly question, but you do have appropriate permissions on the intended file structure?

I put this into Config.pm

    $Self->{'LogModule'} = 'Kernel::System::Log::File';

    $Self->{'LogModule::LogFile'} = 'D:/OTRS/otrs/var/log/otrs.log';

It’s supposed to work via Sys Config, but not for me. I don’t know if this is an issue with the  Windows version of OTRS or not

Config Options: Framework -> Core::Log

LogModule:

LogModule::LogFile:

I setup OTRS on Windows XP . It has been configured but I have a couple questions. Hopefully, you can assist me.

1. How do I enable the Syslog?  No response when I click on it.

2. Setup mail.
