What about having a cronned stat that print csv output that cacti or mrtg could "load" ?

Actually I like this idea as well. MRTG (or even better…Cacti) would be a nice way to have some historical ticket traffic graphs available. Not to say that Stats can’t do it but it’s just a different way of tracking trends over time.
