It it's not too long to explain what is this CVS HEAD you had mentioned?
We're developing OTRS in a Concurrent Versioning System, CVS. The most recent version deriving from this CVS is called the CVS HEAD. Call it the bleeding edge of OTRS. Refer to the bottom of our download page for instructions on how to check out the CVS: http://otrs.org/download/ Well, our recommendation is for sure to use the most recent issued version instead of the sometime sharp-knifed CVS HEAD.
