Osvaldo, There could be a number of reasons for this, but a common one is that IE is flushing the DNS cache while you're connected; IE8 is known to do this. The fix is a registry change; in Registry Editor, change HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\DNSCacheTimeout To a value larger than the expiry time of your Kerberos tickets; we use 0x0000a8c0 (decimal 43020). Be aware if you use any form of dynamic DNS on hosts this may affect connectivity; very few people do so it shouldn't be an issue, but it needs mentioning. Microsoft support article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/263558 - they say you need to change ServerInfoTimeOut as well, we didn't find this necessary.
