
mysql client can connect over the network as well and he can
just install that if required.
I recommend Database Workbench though. I use it to manage
multiple remote and local Firebird, Oracle and MySQL systems
and its really the cats meow letting you do everything you
need to from a nice interface including table
creation/changing/maintenance, sample data population on a
large scale and data migration between like and different
data systems.
