
Your webserver doesn't recognise this as a file that it can process
and so it is just returning the file itself.
What webserver are you using? Apache?
Have a look at the Apache doc to set this up;

Greetings,
I am experiencing a problem with the installation of OTRS 2.4.1. I have installed the web server and need to implement the database but everytime I execute in a browser http://localhost/otrs/installer.pl . I get the error the extension .pl is unknown and wants to download the file. Does anyone has any suggestions.
