Another option is to use Scheduled Tasks (I assume it's there under Windows XP) to run PostMasterPOP3.pl every ten minutes. That's what I've got set up on my OTRS server running on Win2K Pro, and I have yet to have any problems with that.

I have followed the doc section named "Filtering/dispatching by OTRS/PostMaster modules" in order to dispatch incoming mails in my different queues. And that works pretty fine. But : how can I make these mail receptions periodic ?

All mail collection is controlled by cron jobs. You need to read the section about cron jobs under windows using CRONw. The default cron for collecting mail runs every ten minutes.
