I'm not using startup.pl because I'm not using mod_perl for this. That's the strange part. No external scripts are being used at the moment. I don't even have the cron scripts active yet. It's a fresh install of 1.1.1 on a RedHat Linux box... I think it's 8.0 but maybe 7.3... I have several servers and I'm not sure which version is on this particular one. Also I'm using Perl 5.6.0 and I have all of the other modules installed that I needed but for some reason it complains about Win32::Registry. I get this error when I access this url: /cgi-bin/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentCompose&ResponseID=1&TicketID=4&ArticleID=5 Can't locate Win32/Registry.pm in @INC and [Fri May 2 15:05:51 2003] index.pl: Can't locate Win32/Registry.pm in @INC both are followed by the paths that it tried when searching for Win32/Registry.pm. Is there a configuration variable to tell it that it's running on Linux? I did not use the installer.cgi file when setting this up due to some problems I had trying to get it to work. I setup the database manually and there may be something that I need to configure that I have missed. So far this seems to be the only problem I'm having with it. -Gary At 12:08 PM 5/2/2003, you wrote:

What is the correct procedure for telling the system that it's on Linux and that there are not any Win32 modules available to it?
What's that! :-o
I don't know why you get this error. Maybe you use Win32::Registry in you apache startup.pl or somewhere else? Remove it, you don't need/have it on linux.
Thank you, Gary
