[otrs] Setting crons on windows

Hi, In the OTRS2.2 Admin manual, at step 3.2.5, setting the cron jobs is explained for Linux/unix. Could anyone tell me the importance of this step and how we can do that on windows? I've installed OTRS in windows only.
