What is it used for ? Maybe im too stupid but i cant find any hints.. :(
The bounce function is most useful, when a mail errorneously was sent to the wrong address of the ticket system. You as agent do not want to drop the ticket but forward it to the correct address. Example: You are hosting two ticket systems in your company. You have a customer, who does not care about what you told him, where he should send his support mails to. So he sends all mails, regardless of they deal with sales or support questions, to sales@yourbusiness.org. You do not want to upset the customer by simply rejecting his mail, thus you bounce the mail to support@yourbusiness.org. He probably gets a notice from the ticket system, that his mail was forwarded to the correct destination, but is not requiered to do any further action on his request.
