All,
Is it OK to run OTRS on more than one machine to the same database at the same time, for load balancing / redundancy? Or is there some local state or another assumption that will break this. I noticed the 'sessions' directory in OTRS..
well, I believe you could do this. However you should make sure that the var directory should be shared via nfs across both machines. Not only sessions but ticketcounters and attachments are stored there. Other than that I do not see any issues - I ran this setup for testing purposes a while back. - -- Regards, Wiktor Wodecki net mobile AG - 40470 Duesseldorf - Germany 923B DCF8 070C 9FDD 5E05 9AE3 E923 5A35 182C 9783 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCAiEM6SNaNRgsl4MRAt22AKClF1fhrlnVcXPNs3G+N3Vlt/lyOQCfcmcn NruXcBTqE8nfDOqiOCjtlNI= =bcAF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
