[otrs] Sending Notes & Closures

When I compose a note or use the close function, the only note type option I have is "Note - Internal" How can I set OTRS to send these notes to customers? I am specifically interested in sending a Close notification or problem resolution, if you will, to the customer. Thanks, Joe Fusco
