[otrs] no SMTP connection got far enough

I have an email address which is forwarding to my OTRS server. I've set up a queue, email address and a postmaster filter for it. Is there anything else I need to do? Hi. This is the qmail-send program at <removed>.icritical.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up.
