Sorry I need to explain it better.
A new customer wants to sign up
He enters his details and chooses his own password
There is no authentication of his email address
however, if an existing customer forgets his password OTRS can generate one
and send it to the email address
What I want however is:
A new customer wants to sign up
He provides all his details and email address
OTRS generates a password and sends it to customers email address
This means that only the person entitled to use the email address will know
the password
Is there a way to adapt the lost password code so that a new password is
generated for new customers?

One of the 'failings' of OTRS is the ability for anyone to create a =

account without any form of authentication. Would it be possible to =
