as far as i can see thats only relevant to the customer backend. not the agent backend. And it was changed as per the documentation for the upgrade process, so that is not the issue at hand.

In the User table, "salutation" changed to "title". This might cause your sync to break. Please adjust the name of the field in your configuration.
