Hi,

yes, you can discard by setting „X-OTRS-ignore“, but handle with care, as these mails get discarded.

You may take a look to http://blog.otrs.org/2010/10/22/dont-let-out-of-office-emails-change-your-ticket/ also, to get handled ooo-replys. It’s written for OTRS 2.4.X, but should work for 3.0.X similar, I think.

Hi Paul,

In the Admin section you should be able to create a Postmaster filter using a regular expression that will filter mails like that to the junk queue. I'm not sure if you can simply discard the mails.

More info on filtering at;
http://doc.otrs.org/3.0/en/html/adminarea-postmasterfilter.html

Kind regards,
Rory

Hello,

        Is there an option to ignore certain e-mails from users ( automated responses, out of office etc... ) ?
        The subject would have a certain string in it " out of office " and we would like for the OTRS to ignore those messages ( not to create new tickets ).

Regards,

Please don't print this e-mail unless you really need to.
