
Hi Roland,
Since last Monday beta 3 has been released. This is really still not
stable yet; but at least would be fully usable for day to day use and
at least fit for use as proof-of-concept or evaluation. One thing to
note is that the ITSM and FAQ modules are not available (yet) for OTRS
3 so if you plan on using that it might be a reason to stick to 2.4
for now.
The stable version of OTRS 3 will be released on December 1st; by then
betas of OTRS ITSM should be available, and stable versions for ITSM
and FAQ for OTRS 3 are available from Feb 14th 2011.

Hi,
We want to use OTRS as our ticketing system. On the website I see that there is a beta version available that looks much better than the 2.x version. Is it safe to use this version already, or would it be better to wait until the version is stable?
