[otrs] Search providers in Internet Explorer

Hi list, Using Internet Explorer, seem to have a problem with the search providers in otrs 2.4.7. If using Firefox, they work just fine. Trying to use them from IE gives an error message: "Internet Explorer could not search using this search provider. There was a problem with the search providers information." Any known workarounds?
