Is your /etc/my.cnf configured correctly ?
es:
/etc/my.cnf:
[mysqld]
datadir=/var/lib/mysql
socket=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
[...]
and there is in there the mysql.sock file ?

Hi
I have installed OTRS on the SUSE Linux. When I am accessing the index.pl or customer.pl it is showing me following error:
"Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)"
I have checked MySQL service is running. I have also tried to reconfigure the database through the installer.pl but getting the same error. Please help me!!!!!!
