Hi there, to show a freefield (-time etc..) mask in the compose views, you just have to enable that field on the configure page for that view. You can navigate to the summary of configure pages following this path: ADMIN >> Sysconfig >> choose Group("Ticket") click "show" All the "Frontend::Agent::Ticket::<whatever>" pages there are responsible for configuring a single agent interface view. Names should be obvious. On the configure page for the particular view (Frontend::Agent::Ticket::<whatever>) scroll down to the section named "Ticket::Frontend::<whatever>###TicketFreeText" (resp. FreeTime etc.) This sections looks like a two-column table, maps the id (first column) of the FreeTextField (resp. FreeTime etc.) to an activation toggle (second column). Default is '0' (= not showing input mask for this field). You have to set this to either '1' (= showing input mask for this field) or '2' (= showing input mask for this field, and input is required). You have to edit this table for each viewif you like to show input masks on that view. This can be kind of a click-fest, but there is no collective configure page that I am aware of (makes some sense though, as the per view toggle option is more flexible). Can anyone please answer my questions: 1) I modified the CustomerTicket Message.dtl to add new field 'Category'. This is a drop down filed. It is retrieved the vales from TicketFreeTextFiled1. Now I can see the new field to Customer New Ticket creation page. But this new field 'Category ' is not viewable in the Ticket Zoom page. How to configure this? How to do the same thing from SysConfig.
2) I want to view the same filds at the Agent/Admin New Ticket add form and also in teh Compose Mail interface. How? 3) Do anyne have documet regarding the sysconfig. I have Admin manual but the this part is not detailed. Specially if any configuration chnaged which page will be effeceted. 4) I add free article field 'Work' from sysConfig. But can not see the effect in any page. Which page will be effected?
