this is not possible in the current OTRS release. Just keep in mind, even if this would be configurable, it is up to the recipient if the "read confirmation" is sent back to the origin sender or not. Like in Microsoft Exchange environments this is just a little helper and not a guarantee that you know exactly if your emails are read or not.
