I am trying to install otrs with the help of link http://wiki.otrs-forum.de/index.php?title=Installation_on_Ubuntu_Lucid_Lynx_%2810.4%29.

Finally on http://127.0.0.1/otrs/installer.pl, it is giving the error,

Software error:

Bad address at /opt/otrs//Kernel/System/Log.pm line 229.

On line 229 of Log.pm the following is the code,

 my $String = '';
    if ( $Self->{IPC} ) {
        shmread( $Self->{Key}, $String, 0, $Self->{IPCSize} ) || die "$!";

    }

Please help.
