[otrs] Installation Help: RPM no dependencies (Red Hat Entp. 3)

Thanks for your reply. I assumed 'forced install' meant to use the command, 'rpm --nodeps -ivh tmp/otrs-1.3.2-01.i386.rpm'. I received the following messages: error: cannot get exclusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/Packages error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Operation not permitted (1) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm Is the command I used correct? If so, any ideas on how to proceed from here? Thanks again.
