First of all, I saw many requests from you on the mailing list on one topic, your issue with the auto reponses.
The very first of your mails was from Thursday 5 november and was responded to within 13 hours by Olivier Sallou. [http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2009-November/029187.html]
Apparently you were not able to address the issue with his advice. Instead of replying to his mail, thanking him for his support, and explaining that you did not manage to get it working, and asking for more suggestions, you decided to start another thread, on November 13th, subject "Auto Response not working".
And then you sent yet another email with subject "Admin :: Auto Response<-> Queue" on the same day.
And then, on November 17th, you decided to write yet another email, with subject "Auto Responses <-> Queue]"
And then, on November 18th, you decided to write another email, with subject "Problem with Auto Responses <-> Queue", which was replied by Marco Vaninni. He asked for more details, for instance, if you were able to send any mail at all. You did not bother to reply.
Now you write YET another email for instructions on how to upgrade to solve your issues with the auto response.
Who told you that upgrading would solve the issue? OTRS has been around for years and the auto response feature has probably worked since version 1.0, if not 0.5beta1.... Upgrading will not make your auto responses start working, this is caused by something else.
I understand that you are new to OTRS, and I also understand that the learning curve can be quite steep. We have an active, and really helpful community, and I'm really happy with that. But if you just re-send the same message over and over again, and you don't reply when people ask for more information, but instead you send out more and more of the same questions, people will stop answering you. The people on this mailing list are OTRS users, love the system and try to give something back to the community by helping their peers with advice. Please consider this, and treat the list as a valuable resource.
Could you please stop starting new topics on the mailing list regarding the same issue? I guess that if you had replied to Oliviers mail instead, you probably would have been able to solve your issue on Friday 6th of November!
