I saw the reply just now! :blush: Thank you Michiel, it takes a looooong time to load, but it seems to be working! We indeed have a local IMAP server and I thought it would be better to have everything in one place. I'm not sure that I'll use this module, I was just experimenting with it. Thanks again for your valuable input! Best regards, Theodoros On 12/1/2009 4:38 PM, Michiel Beijen wrote:
Hi Theodorus,
I can reproduce the issue you are having.
If you would add $IMAP->{go_slow} =1;
to line 96 of Kernel/Modules/AgentWebMail.pm the issue would go away, but in turn this would make the webmail client a bit slower. [Ref: http://cpanratings.perl.org/dist/Mail-IMAPTalk]
A more fundamental question is: why would you want you want to use the OTRS webmail package? To be honest, the client is pretty spartan (although 'basic' might be a nicer word) and it could not compete against all the GUI goodness of Gmail. In your case, you want to use it as client for Gmail; I really would not see the benefit of that.
In some cases, when you have a local IMAP server at your company, and you don't have a webmail solution available, I can see the reason to use OTRS's webmail of course.
