Here at me office, we have OTRS installed on Fedora Core 3 system. But, now the boss wants it moved over to a windows system, using IIS6, Active Perl and MSSQL 2000. I have looked through the docs and forums, and I've seen the question asked a couple times on how to get this configured to wirk with the MSSQL, but haven't seen any answers to it.
We are interesting on setting up the 2.0 version, but, do not want the mysql. How do I configure OTRS for mssql?
I know, that some people tryed to run OTRS with MSSQL, I think they had success with OTRS 1.3. But many manual changes were necesary, to setup the database. IIS should be not the problem... However, we don't support MSSQL yet, because we haven't enough knowletge about this specific database server :(. It'll take a lot time to work in and at the moment we don't have the manpower to do this :(. If some would write a driver for MSSQL and adapt the scripts for the database setup, we can integrate it into OTRS, but we would not offer commercial support for this part of the software. And ofcourse we can try to adapt OTRS to MSSQL, if someone would spend some money for this project or via a commercial order ;).
