Which is HIGHLY recommended as its always good practice to separate OS
specific logs from Application Logs. Using syslog function seems to blur
the line between OS and Application!

Under Windows, the System Log in the Admin area of OTRS is not available.
You have to use the Logfile Module which creates a separate logfile.
