During testing we did have the mysql database on a different box. Don't recall there being any significant issue, but that was a while ago. We may have installed on a local system and migrated to a remote at a point during testing. (?) I'd suggest verifying the hostname and resolution. I can't really see a reason why the code would care local vs. remote in this case. Corin
