I upgraded to RedHat 9 and Apache 2. I could not get mod_perl to function right (with otrs). I decided to just try to get it working in cgi first. I get this error (with customer.pl and index.pl): Died at /var/www/otrs/bin/cgi-bin/../../Kernel/System/Log.pm line 60.
