i use the RPM 1.1.3 for RH8, on RH9 , too , and when i create manually the user otrs, before rpm -i otrs*rpm the installation is direct ! did you get the loop dependance between the sql packages , when installing sql ? jerome Miller, Avi wrote:

I used the RPM installation, which created the otrs user automatically. I'll try a manual installation on another RH9 server and see how that goes.
