What does your current installation look like: Database OTRS Version Perl Version Web server A ROUGH sketch of the upgrade procedure is as follows: If you are using MySQL and Apache, the transfer should be very easy. Copy the entire directory to your Linux server, configure your web server http://doc.otrs.org/2.3/en/html/x414.html#webserver-configuration back-up your database and import it into your new MySQL server, install needed perl modules in your new server (you can check using the following) http://doc.otrs.org/2.3/en/html/x414.html#installation-of-needed-perl-module... setup an OTRS user and group and use the set permissions script to properly set the permissions on the OTRS root directory http://doc.otrs.org/2.3/en/html/x414.html#preparing-manual-installation If you upgrade OTRS then you have to follow the upgrading instructions included in the tarball, If you like, we can also offer you an estimate for performing the migration.
