for 1, I keep the old attchment in DB. These tickets forward fine.

In fact, there are serval situation confuse me 1. some ticket can be forward with attchment, but it shows duplicate items and missed some item
did you have problems while transfering old attachments from DB to filesystem?
2. no special found in system log

3. what's role of article_attachment?
this holds the attachments when you use the DB storage module
