
Looking at the docs for
DBD::mysqlhttp://search.cpan.org/%7Ecapttofu/DBD-mysql-4.020/lib/DBD/mysql.pmit
doesn't appear to have a failover mechanism, so you would need to
handle
the failover using some other method e.g. load balancer, virtual floating
IP etc.
