I think that this was designed to be like AgentTicketPhone (with an AutoResponseType) instead of AgentTicketEmail. It wouldn't be unreasonable to attempt to copy GenericInterface/Operation/Ticket/TicketCreate.pm and modify to use ArticleSend, but easier would be to create an autoresponse that "acts like" the email. A ticket has been created for the following ... This is a reasonably generic autoResponse that can apply to most situations.
