Frans, i´m following your idea about criteria , and it is mine to, but i can not break a company rule.
And there request does not sound very strange actually. i think otrs should leave the admin how he is sending out a mail.
because it will allways convert incoming html to plain , i do not see the problem why otrs doesnt do that on.
RT for example does it, an the tinny toy i found does it to, it will just take some time to develop it to our need.
Anyway, i get an error on the link provide, is this normal?

At this point let outgoing mail go through some kind of parser, sound like the only option for you.
Alike http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/mimedefang perhaps. sendmail v11 http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/mimedefang%20perhaps.%20sendmail%20v1... appears to have related functionality.
Or switch to a commercial product. If it is indeed that important.
Amazing though, if this is the most important criteria for the product.

Can you explain me what you mean? i am not following ..
i use smtp to send mail , the mail is plain text so how can i add it in the footer?
if using sendmail can do this im willing to give it a try
can you point a direction? thanks!
ps i my last mail i mistypt the name of the tool it is osticket not ostrack :-)

hi , still strugling on this problem,
i found ostrack, basic version is not so complicated as otrs, but there are lots of addons and it is written in php..
so if it is not possible to use outgoing html mail it will be goodbye otrs.. shame... i loved otrs!
