Hi Sergio , Firstly , I would recommend setup otrs on a linux box from the start (I have experienced problems moving from Win32 to Nix , not going into the sad story :P ). If you have a SMTP server you need to specify that in your /Kernel/Config.pm # SendmailModule $Self->{'SendmailModule'} = 'Kernel::System::Email::SMTP'; $Self->{'SendmailModule::Host'} = 'ur.smtp.host.ip'; $Self->{'SendmailModule::AuthUser'} = ''; $Self->{'SendmailModule::AuthPassword'} = ''; You'll also find some useful settings in Kernel/Config/Defaults.pm , just copy into /Kernel/Config.pm HTH Daniel

Dear list:
I installed otrs on Windows as test box. I will later one move it to linux for production. My question is how do you make Win to send out emails since sendmail is to part of it?
Also when I create a new user it tells me that the email is invalid. Any ideas?
Thanks
Sergio
