 I need to be able to have OTRS, and phpMyAdmin running on the server.  I was thinking I would need to setup vhosts in apache, but I’m not sure where to start…   Both OTRS and phpMyAdmin will run fine on the same server.  Installed in their default configurations they would not conflict with one another.  If you don’t have any other requirements install them in their defaults configurations.   (No Apache config changes required other than those specified in the install routine. I'd suggest you start with a default configuration and then migrate to whatever form you desire after you get the system running.)
