Hello list, I am starting to use OTRS now and I have made several queues. But now I would like to see my personal queue listed when I log in to OTRS and not the general queue. Can somebody tell me how to do this?? Thx, Peter

What is a general and a personal queue? Nils Breunese.

General means the "My Queues" at the beginning of the bar. After this
all my custom made queue whicht I want to display and use are shown.
But when I login I always see the contents of the "My Queues" queue
(so all the queue's together). What I want is to see the contents of
my personal queue with all my personal tickets.

Do you mean your locked tickets?

So you mean the locked Tickets, right? Well I think you will have to change the coding for that a little bit. As the default says to show you the "my queue" at login.

Thorsten

Why do you have a personal queue? You can use the 'Locked Tickets' button to see what tickets you have locked. And you can choose in your preferences what queues you want to watch (they are combined in 'My Queues'). Nils Breunese.

Oke, I get your point. I have to see if this meets our business needs,
because my collegue must also be able to view my locked tickets when I
have my day off.

Hi Peter,
You can set that up in the config that the locked tickets are still shown in the queues. And you can even set a specific timerange to unlock tickets automaticly when you dont make a change to the ticket.

You might want to unlock your tickets then, or have them unlock automatically after a specified amount of time. If you're working with only a small team and you trust eachother you could even give everyone rights to change ownership of tickets, but if you're also depending on notifications for follow-ups then you might want to just make sure you don't have any tickets locked when you're not able to work on them. Nils Breunese.

Hi Peter, Your personal queue is normally what you marked in preferences. If you marked some in preferences all the tickets in that queues will show up in "my queues". Is that what you are trying to accomplish?
