In the customer_user table there are fields for both 'login' and 'customer_id'. What is the purpose of having both? Doesn't 'login' uniquely identify the customer? Thanks, A. L.

Yes, that's what 'login' is for, it uniquely identifies the customer. The 'customer_id' is there to not identify but _group_ customers. It is most often set to an 'o' or 'ou' value when mapping against LDAP. hth, Robert Kehl -- ((otrs.de)) :: OTRS GmbH :: Norsk-Data-Str. 1 :: 61352 Bad Homburg http://www.otrs.de/ :: Tel. +49 (0)6172 4832388
