Uninstall without deleting existing MYSQLdb

Hi All, As a consequence of not being able to fix the problems with msvcrt.dll I have decided to uninstall OTRS from the WIndows 2003 server. But... I'm afraid that the uninstallapplication will affect the existing mysqlinstallation - so I have a aquestion: Will a uninstall of OTRS also remove the MYsql-server - if the MYsql-server existed when OTRS was installed ? Kind regards Morten

Morten,
Did you use the Windows installer package?
It will only remove the mysql instance installed with the Windows installer
package. It should not affect any other mysql instances already present.
That being said, I'd suggest you make sure you have a backup of your
database and your server before doing uninstall; if there is something
valuable in there you'd like to keep...
Regards,
