Hello, I am just playing around with otrs. I did configure a pop3 account, sent one mail to it and fetched it from my otrs-machine. It was put to the raw-queue. I moved the ticket to my own queue and did work on it. Until here everything is clear. But now to every full hour a new ticket appears in the raw queue, all from the same mail which I did already move to my queue. Where does it come from and how can I stop this? There is no mail in the used pop3 account, also the local otrs account has no mails? Any hints? Thanks in advance. Ralph Mueller

How do you fetch the mails from the server? fetchmail via cron?

Are you sure, that you did not leave the mails on the server? What is written in /var/log/mail or /var/log/fetchmail? How did you configure fetchmail?

Hi, I had the same before. The mail sticks in the mailqueue and is put in the raw queue by the fetchmail cron job. I do not really know, why it is not cleared from the queue, but stopping the cron job is a workaround. Bye Christoph Ralph Müller wrote:

Hi, I know, it has been a long time since this topic, but was there any solution? On Friday 02 August 2002 14:56, Christoph Kaulich wrote:

This is no real solution, since then no other mail comes in :-( Thanks, Stefan -- Stefan Schmidt Email: jsj@jsj.dyndns.org jsj@exsuse.de Bremen jsj-hb@t-online.de s.schmidt@iu-bremen.de

Hello, the problem stopped, since Martin fixed the umask in Article.pm. (http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2002-August/000170.html) The wrong directory mode stopped PosterMaster.pl to process the mail correctly. Bye Christoph Stefan Schmidt schrieb:

Cool. I did not find the time to read all mails in depth the last days, so I missed this one. Thank You very much, Stefan -- Stefan Schmidt Email: jsj@jsj.dyndns.org jsj@exsuse.de Bremen jsj-hb@t-online.de s.schmidt@iu-bremen.de
