OK, here is another potential solution to my problem. Is it possible to have a customer automatically created when an email comes in to the support email? I know this could open the door to other potential problems - but the customer could be created with next to no privs until verified by an agent. -- “Don't eat anything you've ever seen advertised on TV” - Michael Pollan, author of "In Defense of Food"

Hi Alan,
This would be a little difficult as it would require some major system
modifications;
one of the issues you would run into is that you'd have to figure out which
customer backend to store in, what the first- and last name of the customer
are (because those are required fields) and stuff like that. Of course it is
achievable, you could flesh out the needed behaviour, but it would at least
require Perl programming...
(not that I'm afraid of that ;-)
Regards,
