Adding Customer Salutation Error

Hi When I (as admin) tried to add a Customer, I didn't complete Salutation field and I got this error: Error: Need Salutation! Comment: Bug Report: Click here to report a bug! Handle: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/Apache/Re gistry.pm Frontend Subfunction: Kernel::Modules::AdminCustomerUser::Run (v 1.2) Frontend Line: 123 Backend Subfunction: Kernel::System::CustomerUser::CustomerUserAdd (v 1.2) Backend Line: 107 Backend BackendMessage: Need Salutation! So I ask what is Salutation for? Is it implemented? Thanks.

Salutation means Mr. or Mrs. so you can see what the customer is. -=> But this info is not used at the moment. I received this same error message. Is it possible to make this an
optional field.?
