Thanks for all your guys' help. I appreciate it. I have a few more questions for yall. 1) when viewing the list of tickets, is there a way to shorten the display size so that u only see the from,to,subject and then u can 'ZOOM' in to see the whole ticket 2) i remember seeing an addon on the internet for a button to delete tickets from a queue. i can't find it now. does anyone know about this and is there also a way to delete multiple select tickets at one time? 3) i asked this question before but i think i didn't get a response. It was about the addressbook and how to get data into it. Is this related the customer ldap backend? 4) Is there a way to sort the tickets to show newest tickets first? Or an other sort options? -- Damian Fuentes Associate Systems Administrator Evite.com - And all was good in the wonderful land of Linux.

1) when viewing the list of tickets, is there a way to shorten the display size so that u only see the from,to,subject and then u can 'ZOOM' in to see the whole ticket Go to Preferences and than Select your frontend QueueView. Set it to lite.
2) i remember seeing an addon on the internet for a button to delete tickets from a queue. i can't find it now. does anyone know about this and is there also a way to delete multiple select tickets at one time? This is possible. In the manual you can find out how to make a spam queue. A extra feature is than to make a spam button. How to do this you can read: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2003-February/000938.html
3) i asked this question before but i think i didn't get a response. It was about the addressbook and how to get data into it. Is this related the customer ldap backend? I connect my OTRS to my customer SQL DB all the address of my customers are listed in a address book. But I think you can add new customers also manuele in the admin area. By adding a customer.
4) Is there a way to sort the tickets to show newest tickets first? Or an other sort options? I don t now.

There is a new feature in the CVS: [Kernel/Config/Defaults.pm] # AgentQueueSort # sort a queue ascending or descending (after priority sort) # # assignment: QueueID -> Value # where value is one of: # 0: ascending (oldest on top, default) # 1: descending (youngest on top) # #$Self->{AgentQueueSort} = { # 7 => 1, # 20 => 1, #}; [...] PS: It's not working with OTRS 1.2 or lower.
