This could be a case of the file being corrupted by different byte settings on windows/linux. Try opening the file on your linux machine, with: vim -b filename.pm and go through and correct it. Varsani, Rajendrakumar (PSD) wrote:

Which seems like a warning but nothing serious wrong.

The other clue was this in the httpd error_log file:

But I can't seem to locate the source of the problem. Have looked at the permissions of the LDAP.pm file and all sorts. Can anyone help me?

Try the apache error log, I'm not positive where it is on redhat, but either look through the config file to find it, or try in /var/log/

You could also try: perl -c /opt/otrs/cgi-bin/index.pl

Having finally got OTRS LDAP functions to work on my Windows 2000 Professional test environment, I tried plugging the values into the config.pm of our live RedHat Linux box which has been running for months.

I found that this bit of the code seems OK:
