ticket counter per customer

Hi all, I'm just joining this group, so apologies if this topic has been discussed before. I would like to know whether it is possible with the current version or may be in a not-so-far future to implement a ticket number that is customer specific. This way each customer knows how many tickets he has generated. Going for some hints, one way to implement this feature, for instance, would be to create an ID such as: <customer-specific-prefix><cust-spec-sequential-number> where <customer-specific-prefix> is a free string of characters to be chosen at customer creation time, and <cust-spec-sequential-number> is a sequential number specific to the customer Thanks for making this software available to the Internet community at large, Costa ____________________________________________________________________________________ Never miss a thing.
