How to stop running Postmaster process ?
Hi No incoming mails to my queues. The /var/log/messages shows the following error. How can I stop the running postmaster process?. I had tried ./PostmasterPOP3.pl -f 1, but the problem still exists. Please help. I got this error as well and no one seems to know how to fix it. Try a ps -aux , see where Postmaster is running (seems like it's 1837) and use the "kill" command kill [PID] Maurice James Ny wrote:

I tried ps -aux and pop isn't listed anywhere. It's only in the process_id table, and if I manually delete it just puts it back and gives the same error. I checked the user credentials and they are correct.
