Problem with IE8 - 'CKEDITOR' is undefined

Hello All, Some of my users are reporting an error with IE8 on OTRS 3.0.6 when trying to answer to a ticket: Détails de l’erreur de la page Web Agent utilisateur : Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; InfoPath.1; MS-RTC LM 8) Horodateur : Thu, 23 Jun 2011 17:18:02 UTC Message : Expected ')' Ligne : 92 Caractère : 514 Code : 0 URI : https://otrs.xxx/js/thirdparty/ckeditor-3.4.2/ckeditor.js?sfgdata=+sfgRmluam... It's the first time we try to use OTRS with an IE client... and in this case we have no choice, it's impossible to change the browser used. Is it a known issue with a known workaround? Thanks, Olivier

Hi Olivier,
Could it be that the people with the IE client are accessing OTRS over
a VPN tunnel or so? And could it be that they can't resolve the value
you have set for Core::FQDN over DNS?
Still. I would say it's not a great error message...

Hi Mike, Thanks for the ideas. No VPN, but definitely HTTPS. And I don't see any reason why the DNS resolution would not work. Olivier On Jun 24, 2011, at 1:42 PM, Michiel Beijen wrote:
